Dominic's 4 Year Pictures!

T Ball

Dominic and Olivia have been playing t-ball again this summer. It seems like they are both having a great time. I have been helping out as a catcher for Olivia's team and Bobb has been coaching Dominic's team, so we are finding ways to keep ourselves busy :)  They typically have one practice a week and one game a week, but recently we have been having two games and one practice, so it doesn't leave a lot of free nights.  The big difference from this year to last year is the kids staying in position (it seems like the boys pick this up way quicker than the girls) and hitting. Our kids pretty much don't need to use the T anymore, which is pretty cool to see.  I do enjoy t-ball, but wish it ended about mid-June because those 11:30 games are getting pretty toasty out there and the kids seem like they are melting half the time. I'm not complaining, but keeping kids engaged in the outfield is hard enough add the heat and humidity to that and last week all I heard from Olivia's team was "when will the game be over?  when can we bat? i'm hot.....I have a headache." You get the idea. Anyway, the season is drawing to a close this weekend, so I thought I would throw some pictures out.

Dominic's 4th Birthday

Dominic's 4th birthday fell on a Tuesday.  Olivia is doing the summer program at school, so I took Dominic, Cecilia, and the two guys I babysit to Bounce U and Chick-Fil-A.  We had a great day, which was made even better because Bobb was able to join us for most of it.

We gave Dominic his birthday present when we got home from lunch, a new basketball hoop, and we spent the afternoon outside playing with the new hockey and basketball stuff and in the sprinkler.  After a taco dinner (requested by the birthday boy) we had cookie cake to celebrate and then the birthday boy passed out around 6:30!

Dominic's 4th Bday Party

We celebrated Dominic's fourth birthday party on Saturday the 14th at Tee Time.  It worked out great because we purchased a party for 8, which gave the kids tokens, pizza, drinks, bumper cars, the maze, and mini golf.  Since the party was only to last two hours, it was perfect.  We ordered extra pizza and drinks for the adults and then we all had ninja turtle cupcakes, in the shape of Leo (Dominic's favorite).

I really can't get over how smoothly the party ran and how much the kids seemed to enjoy themselves, especially since there were kids there ranging in age from 14 months to 8 years.
